A question we are often asked is how do I get referred for treatment for my AVM?

As part of The rare Disease Collaborative Network RDCN The Butterfly AVM Charity can provide you with the following information to Signpost to your local GPs and local consultants to hopefully speed up the process.

However please note that referrals cannot be made from patients themselves.

For GPs and consultants to make a referral they can use their usual routes in the interim, including writing directly to the Dermatology departments at GOSH or St Thomas’ hospital in the usual ways. It is worth mentioning that they are referring into the RDCN-Mosaic Disorders service.
